Beethoven 4 Brahms brings Malta Philharmonic Orchestra to Gozo

The work of two giants of German music, Ludwig van Beethoven and Johannes Brahms, will bring the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) back to Gozo on Saturday 25 February 2023. The Orchestra will perform Beethoven’s Symphomy No.4, Op.60 and Brahms’ Symphony No. 4 Op.98 at the Teatru Aurora, starting at 7.30pm.

Supported by MeDirect, the MPO will directed by famed Venezuelan-born American conductor Ilyich Rivas as the audience is taken on a journey through Beethoven’s cheerful and light-hearted Symphony No. 4 before experiencing the more sombre and haunting melodies of Brahms’ fourth symphony.
