MeDirect employees recently collected funds and items for St Rita Home in Tarxien. The collection helped the home, which takes care of children aged between 6 and 14 years old, to organise a Christmas party, amongst other things. The items donated included blankets, clothes, games and toys.
Nicholas Xerri a Senior Engineer at MeDirect who helped organise the collection said, “Every act of kindness is a candle in the dark, and when we light the way for the least fortunate, we illuminate the path for all of humanity.”
St Rita Home is run by the Ursuline Sisters of St. Angela Merici who are committed to provide residence to children who are unable to live with their family, offering as safe environment in which they can grow holistically.
