MeDirect Malta has made a significant donation to the Puttinu Cares Foundation in memory of Sabrina Magro Miggiani, a dear team member who recently passed away after battling cancer. The funds were raised by MeDirect employees together with a direct contribution from the bank.
Jonathan Mallia, a Lead Software Developer in Test at MeDirect, and close colleague of Sabrina’s presented the donation. He said, “Everyone who knew Sabrina has been devastated by her loss. She had a great spirit of kindness and generosity to others, which will continue to inspire us all. Through this donation, we are keeping Sabrina’s memory alive and help other families facing the challenges of cancer.”
Puttinu Cares was set up in 2002 and seeks to support those suffering from cancer, particularly children, by campaigning for the provision of a coordinated network of care and support and working to improve the environment in which children are treated.
