MeDirect retains its yearly commitment and has once again presented the Blood Donation Unit with new t-shirts for 2020/21. These t-shirts are given to blood donors as a token of appreciation for donating blood, a noble gesture that should be followed and admired.
Dr Aquilina, Director Blood Transfusion Service in Malta, states that at the end of the day, the only way a blood bank can function is if blood is available, and this can only be achieved through the generous donations that people make. He thanks all current donors and reminds people that there are always individuals out there who need blood transfusions.
